Export your prepared models, with supports, hollowing and holes, as STL or OBJ
Export 3D saves your models as a new STL or OBJ file that includes your preparation work, such as supports, raft, 3D hollowing and drain holes. Use it to open your prepared model in another program. You don't need it just to print: slicing creates the file for your printer.
- Export 3D exports all visible models as a single file.
- To export only the selected model, use File → Export Selected 3D Model (Ctrl + Shift + E).
- To export drain holes as a separate object, use File → Export Holes as a 3D file.
Drain holes (Plus)
Drain holes are cut into the exported model by default. You can turn this off in the export panel. Before exporting, use Detect Holes in Error in Prepare → Hollow → Holes: holes that can't be exported show in red and need to be moved, rotated or resized. Drain holes are made for draining resin, not for cutting models (they aren't boolean operations).
Lychee Library models can't be exported as STL or OBJ, to protect the creators' work.
