Prepare, export or slice many files at once
The Batch tool runs the same steps on a whole set of files while you work on something else. You'll find it next to Add Files on the start screen, and above the Magic button in the Layout and Prepare workspaces.
How to run a batch
- Select your input files: LYS, STL, OBJ or 3MF (LYT isn't supported).
- Choose an output folder.
- Add the steps you want and set their options.
- Click Run the batch.
Available steps
- Prefix or suffix for the file names
- Repair
- Scale (tick Recalculate Support to adjust supports on pre-supported models)
- Rotate
- Hollowing 3D
- Lift
- Auto orient
- Auto support, Parenting and Bracing
- Raft
- Analyze object islands (LYS output only)
- Slicing, with your selected printer, resin and anti-aliasing settings
Each batch outputs a single format (LYS, STL or OBJ). For several formats, run several batches. For example, prepare everything to LYS first, then run a quick second batch to export the LYS files to another format.
