Choose the right format when saving your scene

• LYS (Lychee Slicer Scene) saves everything: your 3D models, supports, hollowing and other preparation. Use it to move a scene to another computer or share it with someone.
• LYT (Lite Scene) saves your supports, hollowing and preparation, but not the 3D models themselves, only where they are on your computer. The files are much smaller and save faster, but the original STL or OBJ files must stay in the same place. To share a LYT scene, the other person needs the original model files in the same location too.

Not saved in either format

Your printer and resin settings aren't stored in scene files, so you can open the same scene with any printer and resin.

Lychee Library models can only be saved as LYS or LYT, not exported as STL or OBJ, to protect the creators' work.
