Back up or share your profiles, and get the latest default settings
Export your profiles
Open the 3D Printer menu in the toolbar and click Export. You can export one or several printer profiles as a .lyp file and choose whether to include their resin or filament profiles. Use this to back up your settings or share them with a friend.
Import profiles
In the same menu, click Import and select the .lyp file. Choose whether to import its resin or filament profiles too. To import a single resin profile (.lyr), see Add a Resin Profile.
Update a printer to the latest default settings
Printer profiles are sometimes improved, for example with an optimized configuration or new features. To get the latest defaults for a printer without losing your resin or filament profiles:
- Open the printer's settings.
- Go to the Cloud section, which compares your local settings with the default settings.
- Import the cloud settings you want to restore.
