What to do when Lychee Slicer can't connect to our servers
These messages mean Lychee Slicer couldn't reach our servers to log you in or sync your data. The cause is almost always on the connection side: a firewall, antivirus, VPN or network setting blocking the app.
1. Check your connection and security software
- Allow Lychee Slicer through your firewall and antivirus.
- Turn off your VPN or proxy temporarily and try again.
- Try another network, such as your phone's hotspot. If it works there, your usual network is blocking the connection. On a company or school network, ask your IT team to allow Lychee Slicer.
2. Check your computer's date and time
If your clock is wrong, a new session can expire as soon as it opens. Set the date, time and time zone to update automatically (on Windows: Settings → Time & language → Date & time).
3. "Session expired" right after logging in in your browser
- Make sure only one copy of Lychee Slicer is running, and that you're opening the version you just logged in with.
- On Linux with the AppImage, see Linux AppImage — Authentication Issue.
4. Reinitialize Lychee Slicer
If you're still shown as offline, see Reinitializing Lychee Slicer.
Using Lychee Slicer offline on purpose
Once you've logged in, Lychee Slicer keeps working offline for up to 7 days. After that, reconnect briefly to log in again.
