What data we collect, how it's used, and how Lychee Slicer handles login and offline use


What we collect

Some data is needed for Lychee Slicer and your account to work, and some is used to understand how the app is used:

  • Account information: first and last name, email address, country, language and billing address.
  • Your settings: your 3D printers, resin and filament profiles and support presets, so they stay synced across your computers. See Cloud Saves.
  • Printing history (if enabled): the file name and a small thumbnail of each exported slice, its resin settings, and any comment, rating or modified print time you add.
  • Anonymous usage data: statistics about how the app is used, not linked to your account.


What we don't collect

  • Your 3D files: your models and Lychee Slicer scenes stay on your computer and are never sent to our servers.
  • Your payment details: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details, only transaction references.

Your data is only used for Lychee Slicer and other Mango3D products. It is never sold or shared with third parties for any other purpose.


Login and credentials

You sign in with your email address and a password of your choice, or with your Google account.


Using Lychee Slicer offline

There is no fully offline version of Lychee Slicer. You can log in with an internet connection (a smartphone hotspot works too), then disconnect: Lychee Slicer keeps working offline for up to 7 days. After that, reconnect briefly to log in again. This only uses a few MB and lets the app sync your data, download the latest printer profiles and check for updates.


Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, transfer or object to the processing of your personal data (Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR). To delete your account and its data, see Delete my Lychee account (GDPR).
