How to recover your printer list and resin settings if they appear to have disappeared
If you open Lychee Slicer and notice your 3D printer list or resin settings are missing, your data is most likely not lost, it can usually be recovered from a Cloud Save backup. This can happen after a reinitialize, or occasionally after an update if a bug affects local settings.
To recover your printers and resins:
- Launch Lychee Slicer.
- Go to File > Preferences and locate the Cloud Save section.
- Find the most recent Cloud Save backup from before the issue started (i.e., before you reinitialized or updated).
- Click the Duplicate icon next to that backup.
- Lychee Slicer will load the saved state and ask what you want to restore, click Add for each entry you want back.
- Click Apply once you've made your selections.
- You should see an "Import Successful" message, and your printers and resins should now appear in your printer list.
